Welcome to the London Business School AI and Business Program. I'm your lecturer, Michael Davies.

As an experienced educator, advisor, and entrepreneur, I've spent my career helping business leaders make strategic decisions and drive innovation. My goal is that my expertise and experience in technology and in business, and in particular in the connection between them, will help you create real value in your business from artificial intelligence and machine learning. You'll come away from this program with an actionable plan for implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning in your position at your organization.

The program consists of six modules, and it will run for 10 weeks. The first five modules, modules one through five, consist primarily of lectures and of activities that will equip you with a solid understanding of what artificial intelligence and machine learning are, how they create value, and how to implement it effectively where appropriate.

These first five modules will also provide step by step guidance for you to devise your own plan for the implementation of AI and machine learning in your organization. You'll have six weeks to complete these first five modules. Module six is a four week live clinic with two live sessions. In the first week of module six, you will meet with your learning managers and with your peers to gather feedback for your action plan. You will then go back to your place of work, and to try to execute your plan in the real world. At the end of this module, module six, which is also the end of this program, I will meet with all of you to hear your experience and your reflections.

Your learning managers also have deep expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their real world application in the world of business. Your peers come from all over the world, from many diverse organizations and a whole range of functions. Seize this opportunity to build networks, and to ask meaningful questions to further your study as well as your career.
