Today there are major disruptive trends fueled by digital technologies that are reshaping industries and businesses. Technologies such as 3D printing, 5G connectivity, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Genomics, Internet of Things, Quantum Computing, Robotics, just to name a few. From my perspective, these digital technologies threaten the status quo in a broad area of industries. That's why we call them disruptive, but they also present significant opportunities for innovation and long-term growth.

The objective of the digital transformation program is to help you develop a comprehensive perspective of the emerging digital technologies and how to leverage them in implementing disruptive business models during periods of significant uncertainty. This entails exploring the current changes and building innovative digital solutions across teams to increase productivity and scale revenue for your organization.

This also includes leveraging new technologies, innovations, and customer insights to disrupt old business models. And of course, make informed decisions and forge digital strategies that lead to increased revenue, productivity, and long-term customer engagement.

My hope is that the program will also help you build a digital growth roadmap that is aligned with the business objectives and digital readiness. It will help you to drive change through the organization through clear and compelling communication and influencing key stakeholders. And finally, the program will help you to shift the strategic mindset from traditional thinking on products- and services-based value creation and competition to a digital platform, an ecosystem perspective and understand the new strategic trade-offs and choices platform businesses represent. Because today's technologies will quickly become obsolete and digital disruption looks different to every organization, the program does not focus on how two's or one size fits all approaches.

Instead, me and my colleagues here at the Wharton School will draw on our research and expertise to help you develop your own framework for capturing opportunities for growth and competitive advantage in a changing digital landscape. We'll show you how to formulate digital strategies and align their execution across functions, harness the power of digital technologies and ecosystems and strengthen vigilance and agility throughout your organization. The program comprises of 18 core modules. In the first section, the core modules focus on the key tenets of digital strategy, examining, and explaining the strategic, the organizational, and the leadership aspects of digital transformation.

Next, we'll cover the skills and capabilities that are critical to harnessing the potential of digital technologies and data. And lastly, we would be focusing on the tools and the approaches that can be very effective in identifying and innovating around the digital opportunities within your organization. After completing the core modules, you will have an opportunity to choose from several exciting elective courses to deepen your understanding of the different aspects of digital transformation and have an exciting journey of learning as part of the digital transformation program.
