Sunil is a seasoned technology and business leader with 25 years of experience driving transformational growth. He has a proven record of delivering substantial revenue increases and building innovative solutions. Sunil possesses a diverse skill set, including expertise in business strategy, leadership, data science, digital transformation, agile methodologies, data strategy, product innovation, platform engineering, and business intelligence.

Sunil is the Chief Product, Strategy and Innovation Officer at CriticalRiver, in this role he drives strategy, new products and fosters innovation across organization. With a focus on leveraging emerging technologies and developing forward-thinking products and solutions, Sunil leads efforts to enhance business o and deliver value to clients worldwide. His leadership is instrumental in navigating the company through the complexities of the modern digital landscape, ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Few notable accomplishments include creating the DSiL – Digital Science Innovation Labs at CriticalRiver, with in his first year lead the development of a GenAI platform, Mobile Application and Data accelerator, He also increased revenue by 20% and talent pool by 50%. He also led digital science and data strategy at Thermofisher, which resulted in significant revenue gains of $1.2 Billion in 2022. He also spearheaded the development of a scalable enterprise ecosystem system, leveraging a modern agile data platform. At ADP, Sunil played a pivotal role in establishing an IPaaS platform that reached 200,000 clients and generated an incremental revenue boost of $100 million. Furthermore, he successfully guided twenty global scrum teams through a cultural, behavioral, and technical transformation while accelerating innovation.


Sunil holds various multidisciplinary qualifications and certifications, including Chief Digital Officer (CDO) from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Management, an MBA in IT and Financial Management from ICFAI Business School, an MBA (MS IT) in e-Commerce and Information Systems from AIMA & Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics from Central University. He also possesses credentials such as SAFE4.0, TOGAF9.1, CISA, PMP, CSM, CISM, CRISC, PRINCE2, and AI.

Sunil Sharma is the course leader for the Stanford Business Digital Transformation Playbook Program and the Berkeley Data Strategy Program. He also leads the Agile Strategy Execution elective in the INSEAD Chief Operating Officer (COO) Programme, INSEAD Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Programme, and INSEAD Sustainability Leadership Programme for Senior Executives.
