Hi! Welcome to the program. We're thrilled to have you with us to learn about  AI. This program will provide you with an introduction to the theory and practice of artificial intelligence. 

It focuses on modern computational techniques for representing task-relevant information and making intelligent decisions. You will be allowed practical opportunities to consider the use and development of decision support systems, recommender systems, and intelligence for autonomous homes and vehicles, along with the ethical issues that the use of  AI raises. 

You will have opportunities to interact with AI topics from a practical perspective and complete assignments that cover problem-solving methods applicable to a  range of industrial, civil, medical, financial, robotic, and information systems. You will also have the option to push your rigor of understanding with stretch assignments provided in each module. The program is composed of 10 modules. Throughout the program, you will find activities and assessments that'll allow you to both practice key concepts and apply methods covered in lectures. There's one graded assignment in each module. 

As you move through the program, remember that you are a part of a global cohort from a wide variety of cultural and professional backgrounds.
