TORONTO, June 13, 2025 — The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto announces the launch of its 6-week Generative AI for Business: Driving Growth and Competitive Advantage program. Designed for business professionals, functional leaders, and strategists, the program equips participants with the tools to integrate generative AI (gen AI) into core business functions and reimagine business models. Launched in collaboration with Emeritus, a global leader in making high-quality education accessible and affordable, enrolments are now open for a June 2025 start.
AI is no longer optional — it is a business imperative. With the potential to automate processes, optimize decision-making, generate content, and enable innovation at scale, gen AI is transforming industries. With its widespread adoption, organizations are looking for executives who can evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions that boost productivity, streamline workflows, and unlock new growth opportunities. In response to this shift, the Generative AI for Business program offers a strategic road map for leaders to build organizational readiness and unlock the full value of AI.
The Generative AI for Business program is structured around 6 key modules covering AI strategy, innovation, ethics, decision-making, governance, and organizational transformation. Led by globally recognized AI practitioners, this virtual e-learning program provides participants with the key evaluation metrics to measure AI’s business impact, identify strategies for competitive differentiation, and understand how to navigate the ethical and governance challenges of AI adoption. Participants will also explore case studies from global companies, including Goldman Sachs, Pfizer, and Citibank, and learn how to apply AI across customer experience, finance, operations, and business modelling.
Upon successful completion of this virtual e-learning program, participants will receive a digital certificate from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
