Welcome to this program. I hope you're ready to get started. To that end, we'd like to run through what you can expect from this program over the next 6 weeks. Over that. I will guide you through 3 main information problems in the world of finance, imperfect information, asymmetric information, and behavioral biases. In between the lectures, you'll find brainstorming activities to collaborate and share with other learners, as well as activities to practice with the key concepts and reinforce your learning. At the end of each week, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on the concepts through self review activities and assignments.

This program will look at the disruption of the finance industry by technology as it shifts information and control from one party to another. I will share examples of technologies that address the 3 main information problems in the world of finance. As you move through the program, a few things to keep in mind. Yours is a global cohort from a wide variety of cultural and professional backgrounds.

We hope you use this program as an opportunity to compare notes with your fellow participants and network with them. The program also includes 24 hours support for technical issues through program support and learning. Facilitators with experience in finance management will respond to content inquiries and host office hours to further your learning.
