About the Berkeley Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
The Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from Berkeley Executive Education is a six-month online program developed in collaboration with the UC Berkeley College of Engineering and the Haas School of Business. The curriculum progresses through four learning stages covering ML and AI foundations, machine learning techniques, advanced ML topics, and generative AI, culminating in an independent capstone project.Â
Participants learn through recorded faculty lectures, hands-on coding activities, graded assignments, discussions, real-world industry examples, and GitHub portfolio development while gaining experience with tools including Python, Jupyter, pandas, Google Colab, Plotly, Seaborn, GitHub, and EMCode. The program also includes career preparation services provided by Emeritus, and participants who successfully complete at least 80% of the required activities, including the capstone project, receive a verified digital certificate of completion from Berkeley Executive Education.
